Position Purpose:

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for providing strategic P&L and finance analysis for SCS Operations Leadership. This role involves collaborating with FP&A regional finance managers and RVPs/DOMs to drive the monthly financial forecast, annual operating plan, long-range plan, project analysis, and various ad-hoc requests. The position requires a hybrid schedule, with the candidate in our Bannockburn office Tuesday through Thursday.

Key Job Activities:
  • Partner with Regional Finance Managers to provide ongoing support related to financial results, understanding business trends, and driving analysis-based recommendations.
  • Drive profitable and sustainable results by advising regional stakeholders on risks and opportunities through scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of monthly and quarterly results, developing narratives around variance analysis for presentation to key business leaders and senior leadership.
  • Develop financial models, metrics, and reporting tools to guide business decisions.
  • Lead the company’s rolling forecast process for assigned regions (OPEX, Workforce Planning).
  • Coordinate with various teams, including Strategic Sourcing, Commercial Finance, and Engineering, to support cost savings initiatives, efficiency plans, and strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with 2+ years of financial work experience.
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, demonstrating knowledge of managerial accounting and financial statement analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. Exposure to Continuous Process Improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and organized individual with the ability to work independently or as part of a cross-departmental team.
  • Experience in a B2B services business and exposure to SAP/S4 Hana, Hyperion Planning, or equivalent planning tools are preferred.
