Source Pro Search is conducting a search for an HR Manager on behalf of a plastics manufacturing plant in the greater Memphis area.

This pivotal role involves overseeing HR functions in a 200-employee, union operation. The HR Manager will play a key role in Employee Relations, Recruiting, Affirmative Action Plans, developing Job Descriptions, and assisting with Performance Reviews. Additionally, the incumbent will engage in discussions with the Union.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Employee Relations, Recruitment, Affirmative Action Plans, Job Description development, and Performance Reviews.
  • Interface with the Union to address workforce-related matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the plant leadership team, fostering relationships with long-tenured employees.
  • Navigate within a larger corporate structure, leveraging additional HR resources while being empowered to make and stand by decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with the plant leadership team.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the capacity to take a stand on HR matters.
  • High-energy individual who enjoys engaging with employees on the plant floor.
