  • Establish and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Prioritize, plan, and execute various projects related to site Maintenance functions/departments.
  • Provide and implement engineering solutions to achieve quality and production availability targets for the plant's production equipment.
  • Deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) and classroom training on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, PLC, CNC, robotics & vision systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis in collaboration with management to identify repeat, systemic, and equipment-related issues, leading root cause analysis, and providing permanent countermeasures to eliminate issues.
  • Proficiently use Excel to manipulate and analyze data for continuous improvement projects.
  • Basic use of O365 to create work instructions, training materials, and presentations.
  • Provide analysis and assistance in planning to keep equipment updated on OSHA, ANSI, & NEC code requirements.
  • May, at times, be needed to assist with emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and professionalism with team members, other departments, and management.
  • 5 years of experience required, preferably as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Must have a full understanding of OEE.
  • Special skills required in advanced PLC programming and networking on multiple platforms, advanced troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC, CNC/PMC, robotics & vision systems.
  • Effective communication skills in regards to training team members and presenting to management.
Due to the company being a 24/7 operation, this position may require being called in for emergency support during off-duty hours.

  • Training, Technical guidance, and related delegation of technical tasks.

  • While performing the duties of this job, you may be frequently required to walk, occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl, and talk or hear. You must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • You will be required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes or Arc Flash clothing while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas. You will work on equipment that involves hazardous environments requiring protective equipment that conforms to OSHA regulations and may experience physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, and noise.
