As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Set up assembly lines, establish processes, and documentation.
Guide mobile equipment products from design hand-off to completion.
Plan, support, and lead the introduction of products to the manufacturing floor, managing integration into existing lines.
Apply advanced Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot production line problems and lead initiatives for risk mitigation, ISO compliance, and cost reduction.
Lead design initiatives in the manufacturing process, including line/cell layout, tooling, and part flow.
Handle capital equipment justification.
Work to advance safety and ergonomic practices.
Bachelor's in Engineering; a Master’s degree would be beneficial.
5 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in a large assembly operation.
Proficient computer skills, including CAD, Word, Excel, and Access.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.
Ideally, prior experience in establishing an assembly line from concept to production.
