Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
  • Set up assembly lines, establish processes, and documentation.
  • Guide mobile equipment products from design hand-off to completion.
  • Plan, support, and lead the introduction of products to the manufacturing floor, managing integration into existing lines.
  • Apply advanced Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot production line problems and lead initiatives for risk mitigation, ISO compliance, and cost reduction.
  • Lead design initiatives in the manufacturing process, including line/cell layout, tooling, and part flow.
  • Handle capital equipment justification.
  • Work to advance safety and ergonomic practices.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering; a Master’s degree would be beneficial.
  • 5 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in a large assembly operation.
  • Proficient computer skills, including CAD, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Ideally, prior experience in establishing an assembly line from concept to production.
