Engineering Office Director

Source Pro Search is conducting a search for an Engineering Professional with project manager experience to lead our Kenosha, WI office.

We are seeking an experienced professional who will play a crucial role in managing, mentoring, and growing our engineering staff. The successful candidate will leverage strong project and client management skills to serve existing clients and expand our client base in the Kenosha market.

Goals & Responsibilities:
  • Directly interact with the firm’s executives on high-level corporate strategy and initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals.
  • Identify, develop, maintain, and manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Act as a technical resource on municipal projects, including staff training, QA/QC, and occasional project management.
  • Be the primary point of contact with clients and subconsultants.
Qualifications & Skills:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a related degree).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Wisconsin (or a related registration).
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively more responsible experience on a variety of engineering projects, with at least 5 of those years in a project management and/or business development role.
  • Experience with various aspects of civil engineering, including water distribution, sanitary sewage collection, water resources, transportation, land development, permitting, and construction.
  • Experience in client interaction, marketing, business development, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Team-oriented yet individually driven, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, deadline orientation, and a willingness to have some fun along the way.
