Electrical Mechanical CNC Machine Maintenance
  • Two or more years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a CNC environment are required.
  • Pay: Up to $33 hourly
  • Shift: Third shift
  • Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin area

Job Description:

This full-time, permanent CNC Machine Maintenance role for the third shift is with a leading, integrated, financially sound manufacturer of advanced design cutting tools. The company, which also has machine building capabilities, operates in a clean and air-conditioned manufacturing area with state-of-the-art technology, including 9-axis CNC machines. Key Responsibilities:
  • Training on first shift before transitioning to third shift
  • Performing a broad spectrum of electrical, electronic, controls, mechanical, and maintenance tasks on the third shift
  • Diagnosing, repairing, aligning, and calibrating various equipment and machines
  • Utilizing precision instruments such as micrometers, gauge blocks, precision squares, torque wrenches, oscilloscopes, voltage meters, ohm meters, phase rotation testers, and laser equipment
  • Analyzing and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Fitting spindles and bearings
  • Machining replacement parts
  • Installing a variety of electrical components, circuits, and equipment
  • Maintaining industrial electrical equipment and systems
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical codes
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electronic controls
  • Installing and wiring new and existing equipment
Experience:
  • Ability to train on the first shift before transitioning to the third shift
  • Two or more years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a CNC environment
  • One or more years of lathe, mill, and/or machining center maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of relay and digital logic
  • Familiarity with ladder drawings and schematics
  • Ability to work the third shift
  • Solid work history
  • US citizen or green card holder
  • Residence within a 45-minute drive
