SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a Senior Embedded Hardware Systems Engineer.

Job Description:
 

• Lead Requirement definition for Hardware designs
• Define Embedded Systems Architectures
• Define and simulate the architecture
• Board level design, schematic capture, simulation
• Specify mechanical requirements
• Manage Hardware and Software integration phase
• Lead prototyping and development testing
• Document ICDs, assembly, test procedures, Product Specification
• Mentor and Manage a reduced team of junior embedded developers

Required Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree In Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Demonstrated history in the design, prototyping, and testing of high reliability embedded electronic devices with 7+ years experience
• Extensive experience in the design of embedded systems at architecture, hardware and software levels
• Extensive board level design experience 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Extensive board level design experience with Altium
• Masters or PhD with 5+ years
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464
• Experience in development under ARP-4754, DO-254, DO-178
• Experience in DO-160 Environmental testing
