Network Administrator

We are conducting a search for an experienced Network Administrator for our large global law firm client.
 
This is a Hybrid / Remote position; with a 5:00 am to 1:00 pm shift.
 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for: providing Level II , end user account administration, data backup/recovery administration, system alert monitoring and configuration, systems health checks and server maintenance, and troubleshooting for the firms On-Premise and Cloud 24x7 environment.

 
 What You'll Do:
  1. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies, Microsoft 365 Platforms, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Azure AD, SQL as a Service, and other Microsoft IaaS, PaaS and SaaS technologies.
  2. Handle the administration of the Exchange Online and On-Premise mail systems, including user account administration and troubleshooting.
  3. Handle user account and group administration in the Windows Active Directory,  Azure AD, and M365 environments.
  4. Responsible for the administration of the backup and data retention environment, including, performing backup and restore, troubleshooting backup failures and performing timely remediation.
  5. Perform various operational tasks and document status in daily Runsheet and Turnover Log.
  6. Assist in the development of departmental system and process documentation.
  7. Participate in network related projects, team meetings and system rollouts, server administration, hardware replacement and server decommissioning as required.
  8. Provide escalation support as required for regional offices. Typical escalation could come from the IS HelpDesk or regional office managers and administrators.
  9. Provide administrative support for handling data preservation, restoration, and destruction for litigation hold / discovery.
 
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of five years’ experience administering, building, maintaining and supporting Microsoft technologies and related platforms (Active Directory, Azure, MFA, M365,  Azure Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms, PowerShell).  Experience supporting and managing enterprise infrastructure platforms (Citrix, EMC, NetApp, VMWare, Veeam, F5, Brocade,) preferred.
1.     In depth knowledge of the administration of Microsoft Exchange On-Premise and Exchange Online, including user account administration,  mail flow troubleshooting, and e-mail and delegate permission administration.
2.       Solid knowledge of user account and group administration in Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Azure AD.
3.       In depth knowledge of network based backup systems.
4.       Solid problem-solving skills, accuracy and sound judgment are essential.
5.       Extremely detail oriented with superb organizational and time management skills.
6.       Team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal and an excellent customer service mindset.
7.       Working knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
8.       Must be able and willing to work on a rotating schedule at times to provide support coverage.
9.       Accountable, Initiative and ability to work independently on project work and tasks as is appropriate.
10.   Interpersonal skills necessary to interact and work productively with other Information Systems teams
11.   Ability to produce detailed technical documentation that can be used by IS support staff.
12.   Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, and/or a minimum of five years’ experience in Systems Administration.
