Legal Practice Manager
Location: Long Island City, NY (4 days in-office, Friday WFH)
Compensation: Up to $180K + excellent benefits
We are conducting a search for a Legal Practice Manager to join a highly successful and privately held company with a strong portfolio that includes iconic properties such as Gurney’s and the tallest building in Long Island City. Manage and oversee all aspects of legal operations with a focus on commercial real estate closings.
Collaborate with internal and external counsel, lenders, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of deals.
Draft, review, and organize closing documents, agreements, and related contracts.
Oversee compliance and risk management matters related to real estate and corporate transactions.
Support leadership with legal strategy, process improvement, and best practices.
Liaise across departments to align legal functions with business objectives.
Extensive law firm experience handling commercial real estate closings.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, contracts, and deal structures.
Proven ability to manage multiple, complex transactions simultaneously.
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Professional judgment with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred but not required.
