Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid – 3 set days in-office, 2 days remote)
Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year
What You’ll Do:
Onboarding:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Create and maintain personnel files, ensuring all platforms are updated and documentation is complete.
- Conduct background checks for all new hires.
Employee Benefits Administration:
- Enroll employees in benefits plans, respond to inquiries, and process changes while ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate and manage annual open enrollment for benefits and retirement plans (health, life, LTD, 401(k), etc.).
- Process and track paid and unpaid leaves, including FMLA, PFL, Medical Leave, and Paid Parental Leave.
- Manage STD, LTD, and Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Distribute wellness information to employees.
Employee Relations:
- Conduct 30-day and 60-day check-ins with new hires and administer 90-day evaluations.
- Investigate and mediate internal disputes, document findings, and resolve issues.
- Provide coaching and counseling to manage workplace conflicts.
- Conduct, review, and track exit interviews.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for staff inquiries and concerns.
- Monitor employee morale and contribute to maintaining a positive firm culture.
Compliance Management:
- Process and maintain I-9 documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality of all employee records and sensitive information.
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Post and maintain professional staff employment openings.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Manage the interview process, extend job offers, and coordinate onboarding.
- Prepare recruiting agreements, track placements, and process invoices.
Compensation Management:
- Analyze market data to recommend salary adjustments and equitable compensation practices.
Performance Management:
- Conduct professional staff performance reviews and set employee goals.
- Provide feedback, address performance concerns, and maintain evaluation records.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in HRIS and time/attendance systems.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with benefits administration for mid-size organizations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues efficiently.
- High level of discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
- Capability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed.
