Transactional Paralegal – Commercial Title & Survey

📍 Location: New York, NY (On-site)
💰 Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (Junior Level) | Up to $120,000 (Senior Level, based on experience)

What You'll Do:

• Review title and survey documents for commercial real estate transactions.
• Work closely with title companies to clear title issues before closing.
• Prepare ancillary closing documents, checklists, and binders.
• Form corporations and LLCs; draft operating agreements under attorney supervision.
• Obtain EINs and prepare SS-4 forms.
• Review UCC, litigation, bankruptcy, and lien searches.
• Prepare purchase agreements, contract assignments, and amendments.
• Organize closing files and ensure all documents are properly executed.
• Draft and file Deeds, ACRIS forms, UCC-1s, and UCC-3s.
• Prepare loan documents, escrow agreements, settlement statements, and satisfactions.
• Assist attorneys with offering plans for condos and co-ops, including amendments and yearly filings.
• Attend closings (in-person or escrow closings).

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience as a Transactional Paralegal in real estate.
• Strong knowledge of commercial title and survey review.
• Experience with ACRIS, UCC filings, and escrow documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and clients.
