Product Engineer (Electrical Design) - MI

SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for a Product Engineer who will provide assistance with electrical design and development for the DAS Camera Group.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Daily technical management of radar system for advanced research project.
  • Analysis of sensor and system performance.
  • Support technical teams in NA and Europe.
  • Develop system/component test plans and processes.
  • Provide input to schedules and test plans.
  • Collect and analyze data.
  • Direct contact/interface to customer.
  • Develop technical reports and present to customer.
  • Manage TRW technical sub-suppliers.
  • Manage customer vehicle installations and infrastructure.
  • Respond to customer quotations and present during technical presentations
  • Participate at customer meetings.
  • Develop test instrumentation or support hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with TRW policies and procedures, Government standards and customer specifications
  • Travel outside the US when required

Qualifications:
  • 7 + years of related Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Masters degree is preferred.
  • Strong Electronics electrical design and development background is a must.
  • Sound knowledge of automotive measurement and simulation tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written and technical presentation skills
  • Experience working one-on-one with OEM customer and excellent negotiation skills
  • Must be a US Citizen and or Resident
