Engineering & Maintenance Manager
Smyrna, TNSourcePro Search is conducting a search for an Engineering & Maintenance Manager. The job is with a global manufacturer. This is a large plant in need of a strong manager to coordinate Maintenance, the Mold Shop, and Engineering departments. Knowledge of injection molding (or similar processes) is preferred since this position will be involved in resolving tooling issues, equipment issues, process issues, etc. The plant has a strong maintenance team and mold shop team in place to handle day-to-day functions. Looking for a strong manager who can coordinate the departments as well as identify and lead critical projects.
There is a focus on Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, and Lean projects. The Engineering & Maintenance Manager will work closely with plant leadership to help drive these improvements. Will be involved in analyzing processes to identify key areas for improvement in cost, quality, productivity, material flow, etc.
Qualified candidates will have BS degree (Masters preferred), along with at least 7-10 years automotive manufacturing experience. Must have prior experience in Management roles. Injection molding experience is a big plus.
